This is indeed an interesting subject. Firstly, I must admit, the Bible's way of saying things is often in indirect and riddle-type. It is a hard to understand book, and thus, it is obvious that one cannot understand everything that is said within it. This said, I agree with the idea of obeying your parents making you live longer. Whether it is an act of God, or an indirect act, it still means something. QUOTE Indirectly that means a healthier lifestyle and a longer lifespan. And day by day that is more true since there are more and more things that do us harm. I think that is the crux of the subject. |

I don't read the bible cause in my opinion its all make believe. But yes children should obey there parents though.
