I've heard from various rape conselors that Puking or Vomiting can trigger the attacker to back off. The sound, sight and smell triggers a hormonal response that the attacker cannot control to jump back or get off of you, thus maybe giving you time to escape or enact other defense tatic.

Thats good information, but me being young, i find it hilarious - some parts of the article.. haha in my opinion i would just kick them, run bite them or something, trip them even..

 It's really interesting to see what rapists actually target. To be safe, I'd try and be with a group of friends at all times if it's really late/early and I was going out. wow....nice ...i'm glad that we still have people interested in how to get safe home "IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY" i've just saw an article in a local newspaper about fighting styles ,a curios one "city defense" a tehnique recently learned by the european womens as a response to increasing crime number , seems its working , we should be greatfull to our friend from New York for developing and rapid spread of this nice way of defending, the best part is that only 20 % of this "art" represents engaging the attacker ,the other 80% represents tehnique in how to avoit the contact and i'm surprised to see that this topic can be found in that 80% ...
