to be honest, after i left yahoo and ask jeeves for google all those years ago, I havent even looked at another search engine. I do get what i'm looking for with google, so i'm not too eager to change. But it doesnt hurt to keep your options open

I would choose Google, couse it has the largest database of websites in the world. It is one of the less search engines, which could find Bulgarian pages smile.gif

I think AltaVista could compare to it, but ... It's not as full as Google. Also Yahoo is in the same situation biggrin.gif

I prefer google so much...
Its so fast... and very comprehensive.

No blinking ads and posters... its neat and cool. The best interface they could provide...

I just use google and msn occasionally.

I havent really tried out any others because I'm happy with them, and can't see myself doing so in the future.

As many have stated google is the *BLEEP*! rolleyes.gif
Is simple and relieble, but digging and hunting can be long and hard
to find specific information, and google isn't always the right tool.

But i think google can make some skins..I like this but new skins (themes) will be good too smile.gif

I like the theme logo that google, have spiced up from time to time like Olympic Games, holidays.
But it would be nice having Css styled themes choosing from user to user.

If I'm looking for something IT
If I'm bored IT
If i Am after something Specific IT

So the moral of the story IT

I google everything, if i can't find it on the first try then i Expand or reduce my search as required

Thats how i found Trap17, I Goggled it (well not really but it came up as a result so I'm happy

Eh, directories and search engines are different. (guys don't mess them up) Secondly, google may be best for now, but in time to come, there is always a superior (in short, another better) technology which would be evolutions from previous successful technologies.

chaosdesign, nice story-telling session you have there. is that a commercial advertisement though? Sounds like it. Google would remain the hottest for now since the age google started sparked our current generation with excitement, leaving loyal searchers with em'. Well, it's about trust users place unto Google. Look at www.chacha.com, if they'd appeared earlier than Google's release, they could have had been top!

If you guys get what i meant.

I use google.. almost everybody does.
But, in reality... im very impartial to what search engine i use.
I could really care less.

But yet, i use google anyway. I think its probably the fact that its so straight forward.
Google.com, then you type it in what you want to search. It really couldn't be any easier.

"So easy, a cave man could do it..."

oh, wait, wrong company.

Hold on though, aren't there sites that claim that they search multiple search engines?
What about www.dogpile.com? Im pretty sure they search multiple search sites for the answer?
Would that mean that there IS something better than google. Maybe not, considering that
dogpile, in reality, acts as a front end to google. Google technically does all the work for dogpile.

Hmm... loopholes... biggrin.gif
