Mozilla Firefox is a graphical web browser developed by the Mozilla Corporation and a large community of external contributors. Firefox, officially abbreviated as Fx or fx and commonly abbreviated FF, started as a fork of the Navigator browser component of the Mozilla Application Suite. Firefox has replaced the Mozilla Suite as the flagship product of the Mozilla project, under the direction of the Mozilla Foundation.

Security
Firefox uses SSL/TLS to protect communications with web servers using strong cryptography when using the HTTPS protocol. It also supports smartcards for secure login to web servers [citation needed]. It uses a sandbox security model and the developers use a "bug bounty" scheme, for finding fixes for some security and feature additions. Official guidelines for handling security vulnerabilities discourage early disclosure of vulnerabilities so as not to give potential attackers an advantage in creating exploits.

Out of interest, has anyone installed the file you can download from them, if so what is it actually?

And I still think the best bit are the system requirements: not far off the rquirememnts for vista is the scariest bit!

Hah I knew of this website before, At first glance I was like "What the f*ck is this for real??" And by taking a closer look I noticed the funny stuff and realised it was a joke.

Clicking download will redirect to the standard Internet Explorer 7, or show a Server Busy page smile.gif
But the idea was kickass (joking with Microsoft).
Got me a GOOD LAUGH anyways biggrin.gif

AT first thought, I thought oh not again, Microsoft buys out a competitor and screws around with the functionalities of Firefox, which big companies seem to do when buying out a threatening competitor.. but wait a minute. It's eventually a parody site of Microsoft and Firefox fused together. Have to say it's hilarious though, especially with attempts to shut out competing anti virus products such as Symantec and the like tongue.gif
