i got my first FREE domain 5 years ago. i got my second, and third FREE domains more than a year ago. so, yes, there are FREE domain registrations -- if you can find them.
you just have to be on the lookout for DOMAIN REGISTRARS which provide these FREE domain offers, with a small catch -- you can have it only FREE for one year, then after the one-year period, you will then have to RENEW it for an annual fee. and it's not easy to transfer your domains you registered from them to another registrar that easily, in case you find a cheaper domain renewal fee offer from other registrars. more often, you'd pay a premium to be able to do that. that's the downside. but hey, if you want it FREE, then a year is better than nothing at all. |

yea as already mentioned nothing is free, sometimes free is meant if you dont pay hard cash for it , but the methods you would have to do is almost always more painful then paying with real money , only you are not aware you are spending money because you did not give your credit card number and purcahased it , but just think about this , sitting at you r computer from morning to night doing nothing but clicking on banners, referrals, signing up in countless number of sites , agree to recieve newsletters, give out the email addresses of anyone you can think of, now after all this and i am sure there will be more , this is just what i can think of right now , yea after all this if you are really determined to get it for "free" i guess you can get one in two three days, now i believe nobody gets internet connection or elcetricity "freely" so what comes on your internet and electricity bill itself will be a thousand times costlier than buyin a domain, not to mention all the mental stress and and the urge to click click click and get it as soon as possible , and god only knows how many times after a click or signing up for spam you go back to home page or wahtever page your score is .. lol , of course i have exaggerated unjustly but i hope you will get a clear idea that in these when everyone has run out of options to make money a "free" thing is the most expensive thing you will be buying without even the knowledge of the price you are paying ,god knows how many times i cursed at him when i am searching for something and is unnecessarily and silently led into trap

There is such thing as "free" domains. Yes, I mean .com, .net, .org, ect. I once got a free .info domain. I didn't pay ANYTHING. I don't know how these are free, but they are, so, whoever says they aren't free, you're wrong. Do some more reaserch before you post.

domains may say they are free but their is always a hidden catch, trust me - ive trid to do the same thing - offer free domains to my clients, i can offer them free domains but it would mean that id have to raise the price of hosting to cover the cost of a domain. A cost will always come into a domain whether it be the registrant having to pay ICANN $8 to use a domain or a person having to pay a renewal fee. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A COST INVOLVED.
$12 for a domain name MusicOnly, that's a rip off you can register them for as little at 2 to 3 dollars. |

You'd be supprised how secure godaddy is. Most big businesses like GoDaddy are very reliable.
There are such things as free domains, I won't both explaining, because it seems everyone already has. Music, I suggest buying a domain from 1and1.com, they are very secure, and fast. I've bought from them before. It's only 7 bucks a year, and very secure. |
