Pending on the lenses, some lenses can be worn over night. The safest thing is to take them out. I do know of a case, a teahcer at my old highscool, she wore her lenses to sleep for over a week and had to get laser eye surgery because teh lenses actually attached to her eyes. o__0 Wow. Out of all the possible issues I've suspected could come out of wearing your contacts for too long, I never even IMAGINED that something like that could happen. I myself, prefer glasses because contacts have always caused me a lot of trouble, whether it's losing them or leaving them by the frosty window and have misfortunate things happen with them. I did, once, sleep over night with them in and in the morning it wasn't too pleasant. It kind of felt like my eyes were burning. I don't reccomend it. I didn't like putting them in, either, but most people can just get passed that, as it just takes a little getting used to. But I like my glasses. They're cool. |
