what kind of Video/Music Formats that can be played by this new version, 'coz my WMP9 can not play *.wmv format

It won't play WMV, that's like one of the main WMP formats, have you tried going online and downloading a codex from the MS website for it. Not that it really matters, you can download 11 and play it fine (don't take my word for it though because I said that it probably won't work.  )

I've tried playing a wmv video from the Media Player 11 before, it works fine with me, but it does require a codec which I couldnt remember which is it... Try playing the wmv file, if the Media Player pops up an error, it'll prompt you to search for codec at the Microsoft website... If you couldnt find the codec, google it and I'm sure you'll find it, cause it works for me...
