Yes, good information, but i already knew it, i am very focused in this new technology and also this new promoting and marketing technique.

Tons of websites are now sharing free videos, stole videos in fact, one of this days someone is going to take this to lawers.

Anyway, sharing free videos is now fashion, at least since google told he was going to work in videos ads, after that, many opportunists made the same, at least they will untill it no longer is " Hot stuff, Hot news, "Fashion" ".

Most of the videos don't even have quality, not quality in video image nor the audio, it's what i am saying, people just go see it because it's what everybody else are doing, it's like seeing a product on tv, after a few comercials, it the comercial is good, people will buy just because tv has a great influence in people's minds, only the strongest survive to this media.

But, i say it again, even if you don't have a free videos website, if you make some videos, cool ones, interesting videos, and insert your website links and logos in the videos, and then share them in the google free videos website, and also in other like websites, that is a good way to promote your websites, for free!

I find this very similar to using http://www.videodownloader.net/, they are operating on the same concepts. I am a little skeptical of using these way to obtain the video files I like on video-viewing sites like youtube.com. I feel that once you encode the video into a suitable format like .mpg or .avi, the quality of the video is greatly decreased and furthermore I am not really sure what youtube.com is allowing you to view is actually legal.

For example, lets say I saw the latest MV of my favourite singer; Rainie Yang. I download it but isn't that copyrighted under MTV Mandarin or Sony BMG? Could anyone enlighten me with regards to this copyright issues on uploaded videos?

About the copyrights issue, I'm not really sure about it cause most of it is set by the creator or company of the video... However, the copyright issue can hardly be control cause some ppl dont even know such things exist!

There are other sites which provides the same features as getvid.com, but I'm not sure which is the first site that provide this service... Since some sites copied the script and layout of getvid.com, we hardly know who is the real originator... We'll just use the most popular or the one that suits you best or you trust, since almost all gets you the same result...

I already knew it also. Itīs very useful because nowadays you find a lot of stuff on youtube and simmilar websites. Unfortunately the quality is often very poor, I suppose that itīs due to the flash format. Even if you maintain the same quality when you download them, the quality is still not very good. Anyway there are lot of things worth watching and keeping. As for the copyrigh I donīt know... in youube there are lot of things uploaded by common users that donīt own the rights of the material. For example music performance captures... that must be illegal to upload. I donīt think download is worse than upload.

hmm....ive been using this site for quite a while and ive found that it doesent work on DailyMotion and vSocial. YouTube videos download nicely though. If ur downloading videos from DailyMotion i suggest u use VideoDownloader extension for Firefox.
