I think ned kelly is a hero because he was treated injustly by the police and also in 1865 he saved a chilf from drowning. So in my oponion he is a hero which knew what freedon meant> ceya :)

Ned Kelly was a vitim because, though he was a murderer and though he saved a boys life, the Kelly family had specific orders made for them. Police officers had to arrest them for even the smallest crime and policeman Fitzpatrick tried to rape Ned's sister.

I don't think he was a hero but a creature of his circumstances.I be believe he was moulded by his surroundings. He was a criminal there is no doubt about that. But he did what he needed to do to survive and to look after and protect his family.
