its better just to get hosting from trap17 and use yoursite.trap17.com i mean just use that it wont hurt to use it , its just sometimes ppl are lazy to type something like taht

yeah...most parent's don't want to pay for the domain name...they find it a waste of time and money. Furthermore, they are afraid of credit card scams and don't have faith in the companies.

i heard that cjb.net is very strict with its service.monitors thier users account and deletes those sites which do not have mushc visitors. is that true. |

http://www.onesite.com/faq.html there a few alternatives for students not to provide the credit card, but you DO have to be a student. Either have a .edu email or fax them a copy of a school document. |

If you want a free domain it really depends on your defenition of free domain. There are few companies who would just give away a free .com, .org, .net, ect. There are some companies who offer free extentions that are not well know about, for example the .tk domain. I hope this helps a little.
