I agree with you on one point, the fact that everyone has 10 dollars to spare. But most parents aren't willing to pay something for their kid because they think they don't need it. And getting a friend to buy it for you? Unless you have a friend that has a credit card that's out of the question.

A job? I haven't seen any place that allows kids under 16 to work, and I'm 14. The only job I can think of that allows someone under 16 to work is babysitting, and I live in a kid-free death zone where no one lives.

the onesite.com place sounds really good. The only thing I am worried about is that it is a scam site that takes my credit card information. Has anyone actually gotten a domain from them or is there a review on them from some other sources?

i'm 17 years old and i have a job that pays 10 dollars an hour, but with all the stuff i'm paying for like my car and my insurance and various other things, i dont really have any extra money to play around with and i dont have a credit card to use. those types of things if i try to get my parents to let me use theirs, they just say i dont need it.

millertime... tell your parents it is FREE and they are just using the credit card as a fraud check. Tell them the card will not be billed... otherwise, simply apply for your own credit card. With a job paying $10 an hour, you will be able to get a credit card. I got my first credit card at 15 (without parental help).

Credit card companies will give you credit when you are a student. Usually only a $500 limit but that's all you'll need. They do this because, the student will usually be loyal (stay with) the credit card company for a long time.

I am still using my first credit card and see no reason to change. This is like over 10 years after my first card.

does anyone know if talkingworld still does free domain names becuase no one has requested one on the site in over 6 months i think and it also says you need to buy something from the online store but it isn't there any more, so do they still do free domains?

It are great sites, but not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a free domain, with only one . in it, like:
But I know that that's difficult to find dry.gif
