A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing.

Dogeater,
about the metric thing, here is a little bit of info to compare the different units of measurrment. I am 6'0" tall, which is 1.8 metres and weight 180 pounds, 80 kg. 4 ft is about 1.2 m and a kg is approx 2.25 lbs.

It seems that 5’ 11” with 130 pounds is on the light side but still “healthy weight” quite oddly it has a “risk of overweight” yet no “risk of underweight”, wonder why?

QUOTE
Based on the height and weight entered, the BMI is 21.9, placing the BMI-for-age at the 75th percentile for boys aged 14 years, 9 Months. This teen has a healthy weight.
I still don't got that six pack, though, so therefore I'm not considered perfect when I'm in the locker room at school -.- And I'm soo close too. But yeah, I've been gaining muscle recently... started working out... once ever other week =D I'm too lazy to go to the gym all the time. But I try to run and excersize daily, and eat only healthy stuff.

There is nothing wrong with fat people or being fat, I am not fat myself but I hate how people treat fat people differently, in my school theres this girl Kim and she is really big and tall. Alot of people laugh at her and call her gorilla or something that will topple over the lunch table. Its pretty sad, but she does look like those mean, greedy, picks-on-little-children type of person. So maybe she deserves the teases.

well I don't have a problem with anyone but it is sad when you walk in Walmart and the little old ladies are having to walk because the fat people who are too lazy to walk use up all the scooters.I had a fat lady flip me off because I took her door parking spot and she had to park in the back. Whole problem was she didn't feel like having to walk because it was an inconvience to her weight. So That I have a problem with.

I used a BMI calculator on another website a couple of days ago, and it said I was at a healthy weight. This one says I'm healthy too. On the other one, I was at 16.1 or something, and this one says 16.4.

Muscle weighs more than fat, and BMI calculators are not entirely accurate. I think my weight is mostly fat though xD

BMI is not an accurate measure of health. It is better to measure percentage body fat than using this stupid BMI as a measure of health.

BMI, like some others have already said, does not take into account muscle mass.

Apparently I'm normal... now I can go tell all those people that tell me I'm too skinny and need to eat more (even though I can easily polish off five sausages in one sitting... I was a good dinner smile.gif )

I was happy though to see that my sister didn't come up as overweight on that one, because she's done some of those before that put her off the chart overweight, even though she's not much larger around the waist than I am, but since she's so tall, and weighs more than most people her size. I still haven't figured out how her legs can weight so much... lol... I think it's cause she's all sports-like and I'm just an indoor girl lol tongue.gif
