I know that if I would start writing down all my dreams when I wake up, somebody would probably call in a psychaitrist to proclaim me to be officially crazy! biggrin.gif

Haha I also do the same when a dream is worth writing down.
Last night I had the craziest dream though... I was at work and there was a soccermatch within the company between my favourite local club, ADO Den Haag and a team called "white power (ugh)" blink.gif
Anyways after the match I went to get my coat off and there she was, the girl of my dreams, she hugs me and I woke up... grrrrr I really hate it when that happens.
Am glad I understand some of the meanings of dreams, but still, it always happens when a dream gets interesting dry.gif

everyone has those dreams about the person they are destine to be with, i had alot of those most of the time the face is fuzzy enough you can't tell who she is but also you can't tell where your at either.

Sometimes though my dreams come in chapters as well when it stops when i wake up and then it would continue when im fully asleep but awake to see the dream happening like out of body experiance type deal.

I don't have a little brother to come and mess things up for me, it's my own head that wakes me up. It seems that my most interesting dreams start just before my alarm goes off in the morning. I know the back of my brain knows what time it is and it just wants to mess with me. haha.

Ah yes... I've had a lot of experiences like that before. I was in the middle of a great dream about my crush, when my mom woke me up. Another disappointing thing was when I was dreaming I was in a role-playing game as a hero. Now, I've always wanted to dream about something like that. I sometimes lull myself to sleep by imagining I was a heroine in some kind of game. Of course, there was this delicate matter of school, so my mom woke me up again. Why do all the good dreams have to happen when there's school!? dry.gif Anyway, if I try to continue those dreams, they just don't happen, no matter how hard I try. It's rather disappointing, really...

Another annoying that that once happened to me, was I had a nightmare about a statue in the courtyard of my previous school. The stone statue was walking towards me in the middle of the night. I tried to scream in my dream, but nothing would come out. I suddenly remembered... "Hold on, I have a voice... Why can't I scream here? This must be a dream." Thus, I woke up at 2AM. I was so sleepy! My eyes wanted to shut, but I remembered that sometimes, dreams continue... And the annoying thing is, dreams that you don't want to continue are the ones that do so... And the dreams that you WANT to continue dont... dry.gif I didn't want to see that nightmare again. It was so freaky... unsure.gif So I had to struggle to stay awake... It was hard, as I was very sleepy, but in the end, I managed to stay awake long enough for the dream not to continue.

As I have gotten older, my dreams have become more or less forgetable the second I wake up. So, to me, having a really good dream disrupted is even more traumatizing, because I only remember bits and pieces right after, and feel as though something is missing or not right for at least an hour. However, I do appreciate this when I wake up from a nightmare. I am all too happy when I can't remember a thing after waking up from a nightmare. laugh.gif I have to say that this feeling of relief is different when I have a dream/nightmare (whatever you want to call it), about someone close to me in my life. When I'm mad at someone in my dream, I wake up mad at that person and I don't understand why until I remember I had a nightmare about them. It's definitely a strange feeling (almost as if you had a fight with that person in real life). Sometimes I feel as though dreams are overrated. They're not real, so what the heck are they even for? Even the good ones are a tease.

They're a chance for some people to feel like they are doing something interesting for once. That, and they're cheap entertainment; completely devoid of subliminal messages, lousy acting, and propaganda.

I haven't had a nightmare or been able to control my dreams since I was a little child (when I was very little, I used to keep returning to this dark little house in which all my dead grandparents lived - even though I had only seen them a couple times as a baby - and I would somehow save them from some bad guy and leave by squeezing my eyes shut in the dream and opening them, at which time my eyes would open in real life and I would be awake), yet it's those child dreams that really stick with me and that I remember most/best.

These days my dreams either don't exist, or are just would-be erotic dreams (meaning that I never actually get to the erotic part before waking up).

I know what you mean. Sometimes I wake myself up lol. And it's a really good dream/interesting dream... Sometiems I can get back into it though if I think about that person/place/thing but rarely.
