You don't have to do any very hard works.. If you have Dreamweaver or some HTML editor program then it's very easy.. I do so: I make template I really like and then save it like .jpg and also that photoshop document near the .jpg file (.PSD).. Then on HTML editor write on place where you need links and PHP scripts.. Sounds pretty hard but it's very easy to learn

QUOTE(yhcln1 @ Oct 4 2005, 01:08 PM) I just finished building my template in photoshop. it took me long hours and and sleepless nights. i was psyched about finishing the temp. i was like i am THE MAN yayaya. well i just realized that i am not the man since i got no idea what to do with the template. how do i upload it onto my website? do i need to convert it to html by using an editor? so my question is how do i convert it to html? and then after that i upload it right? its realy not smart to build a template with photoshop. its not really the way your supposed to do it. but since your already build it ill tell you how you can use it. first you have to seperate your template into pieces like, head, sidebar, navigation, footer. and so on. then you have to make a css file and intergrate your pictures into the css file. thats as simple as linking your pics in the css file. there is easy freeware that lets you build css file. its called "Simple CSS". its free and works on mac, windows and linux. and you dont need to learn any css programming. just google it and download it. and try to find some tutorials on how to do this whole process, because this stuff can get annoying. hope this helps. post back if my idea worked. |

Dude, dont listen to this people. They all talk *BLEEP*, they like the hardway. Let me tell you something: crop the parts and slice them save them for web. In dreamweaver you can put them together. Im offensive because I see many tutorials about this subject and all they do is waste time of people. Do things on the hardway.
