well i kno i've built nice computers...like my computers have been able to handle doom, and i use for my major gaming and video editing. And i only payed about 870$ for. I'm also a bargain hunter, but if u look well enough im sure u can find the essentials to build sumthin extreme without hitting the extremes

Thanks again P.s. the system is ment to be good things where i need it. i do alot of video conversion.. almost 24/7 threre is a video converting on a computer for some1. so i need a strong processor and HD.. i have no intentions of playing games on it yet.. thats why there is a scrap video card.. i can always upgrade.. the 2 first upgrades i would make to this system is a 6.1 surround sound and a 256 meg video card. because i do have intentions of playing video games.. but not at this current moment in time This post has been edited by BuffaloHELP: Nov 11 2005, 01:11 AM |

flushingcomic:
I saw you would buy a 754 socket. I strongly recomend to buy a 939 socket. 754 Socket processors and mobo's are very cheap now, I agree whit that. But over 8 months, the product will not be available anymore, so there are no upgrade options for you, when you choose 754. With 939, you can upgrade for the upcomming years, and you have the ability of PCI-E. (2 videocards in one pc. ) Maeby you don't need this, but I think with socket 754, you cannot upgrade in the future. |

yes this is really good one to read. it will be more useful to persons like me who are using computer for some time but don't know what is inside it. if you provided screen shots then it may be more useful.
