Hey there. I recommend using Lavasoft's Adaware Professional and Webroot's Spysweeper. I have been using both for a while now. I like the fact that Spysweeper actively monitors your computer, automatically discovering if any adaware is trying to make its way into your computer and protecting you from other hijack attempts. The reason that I also use Adaware Pro is because I find it much faster and easier to use when I want to do a simple scan of my system. Good luck!

I believe that Ad-aware personal is the best and easy to use, and most reliable free software out there....it has really good reviews and everything and i have had it for a long time and its workin perfectly for me....But thas jus my opinion...You can go on www.download.com for reviews and more softwares...but this s the best one they have....then again thats jus my opinion tho.

I also use both Adaware and Spybot Search & Destroy and find that between the two of them, they'll sniff out pretty well any and all spyware. I haven't tried MS Anti-Spyware yet because I'm always leery of beta versions of software.

Spybot Search and Destroy is good, although there are not much updates available of the said program. I have updated mine only once and there are no more updates available after that. Maybe it is such a good program that it can clean and destroy the even the current spywares online.

There's 2 great free anti-spyware programs, wich are:
- microsoft anti-spyware; - ad-aware (free edition); Each one will do the job, but if you want more protection then just anti-spyware, go for the microsoft anti-spyware. If you want just to protect yourself of spyware and nothing else, go for the ad-ware because it's better then the microsoft anti-spyware. If you want to by, by the "webroot spysweeper", because it's rea lly the best in terms of secure browsing (protection against spyware,cookies,default page,favorites,etc ... . Now, make up your mind! |
