You have a wonderful website. First of all, feel free to choose templates or a ready-made design for your site. It's really helpful for a beginner like you. Second, use a WYSIWYG Editor. Something like Macromedia Dreamweaver. Third, master those two, and move to PHP. Updating website designs using PHP is alot easier, and the content of your webstie is alot easier to update. If you are too lazy, use a Content Management System which uses PHP. Mamboo for example.

kitty, now when I try to leave your site a lot of windows popup, I don't remember this last time I visited.
Personally I REALLY hate this, if you want to advertise and earn money, I suggest finding another way to do it. I will never return to site that uses this type of advertising, I find it offensive that advertising is forced upon me in this manner. I'm sure there are many others that feel the same way. Kitty, nice site, but... You already know that, don't you
You can now guess, kitty is my very good friend, and I had my fingers in her site, but very little... She wouldn't let me do it myself, she wanted to be the one to make it... But, I do feel partly responsible for the site... We'll be working on a new color scheme, and play around with some stuff... I believe I thought her well, don't you Kitty, my young student, you may now advance to become my aprentice Oh, by the way, Avalon, this is not a get rich quick scheme, those banners are forced upon us by .co.sr redirection... We will be trying to find a way to circumvent this unpleasant thing they are doing... Possibly a domain name, or something... |

Dear Avalon, I think you are a little agressive for the person who didn't asked me about that..dont you think so?! I don't want to earn any money, with my website..it is my place of peace and quiet, my little peace of heaven..so please don't acuse me without asking before..Personally,I want to remove that popup windows but i don't know how.. |

Kitty,
A few things, you should have a link to skip the intro. 90% of internet users are still on dialup and splash screens take a while to load. Nice graphics on the site. But the main area is very busy, almost distracting. All in all I would say a fair site, lots of beginner design mistakes but clean just the same. PS. I had no idea what any of the links did as it is not in english or french, what language do you speak? |

Well i'm not a professional website critic like some guys from here which have a lot more experience the I do, but I can tell you what my non-critic eyes see.
First of all the introduction is cool, but it kind of makes you forget that you have to go to the website. You look at it and then you look at it again. Not to mention the fact that the ideea of clicking on the animation is not such a common ideea and for someone new it would be very hard to realize that he has to clcik the animation in order to gte to the website. Second would be the site background... the color is nice and the full picture is nice too. What I think is not nice is the fact that you can see that the images are put together and you realize that is not a full picture but a picture duplicated a few times. There would be other things I don't like but that I things that are special for me so I think it would not apply to someone else. If it were to give a mark to your website i'd day 8-8,5/10. Anyway the introduction is great and with a liitle more work it will be a masterpiece. |

Well guys thank you on your positive and negative critiques, they are very helpful for somebody, who is just a beginner like I'm.
Now the answer for mike_savoie,I have planed in the future to make a copy of my website on english, but the firs of all I must to finish the site in my own language..and I speak serbian language,if ever heard about it. About the intro,I realised that the most people have a problem with it,so I will make it a little different for everybody,I will put a link to the homepage,so nobody have to,watch it to the end,and nobody will have problem with it,not even the guys who have a dialup connection.. Offcourse I'm still waiting your appinions... |

I do not really like the active X control that I have to install to even see the website. When I click install Windows gives a security warning. I would put a page that comes up without an active x installation first and then explain what you want to show on the next page. Make sure that people know what is they are downloading.
Also, there are some good tutprials for dreamweaver on adobe.com. |
