I can't add more memory.
I went ahead and deleted all the files in my TEMP directory, and I did that MSCONFIG thing. I didn't see any hidden files or anything =/ But I do have another question. When I started my computer up again today, I did 'ctrl+alt+del' several times while everything was 'loading' and I found a file called "<unknown>"...I did the ctrl alt del again and found the "<unknown>" thing opening again, after I had ended the task of the first one...does anyone know what this is? BTW, thanks a LOT for your guys' help |

Everything inside the temp folder can safely be deleted, some people never delete the stuff in there so it grows huge. It is a good idea to delete everything in it regularly.
It is possible that there are downloaded things in there, some programs by default download into the temp folder and then move the downloaded file to wherever it is supposed to be in. If something interrupts the download or the copy process they can remain in there, delete everything nevertheless. |
