Very interesting, but i prefer running my business websites from my computer with my own domains.
Anyway, besides the fact that's free, it's also very usefull for some webmasters. Thanks for sharing.

I would stick with just registering the domain at godaddy or something. I think there must be a catch for the free domain. What happens if they find out that you are not using it for bussiness? for free domains i would use:

www.uni.cc
www.co.nr

What about acidmist? I would get my visiters to always goot the ad page and evertime they visited and it worked out. Especailly when you have alot of visiters.

Hmm...I'm not interested in a domain name. If you need one, you can buy them cheap, only $4.99 US. That doesn't sound that bad.

Anyways, you only have this domain for 1 year and then your traffic gets redirected to another business site. Yikes!

First of all let's be clear that there is huge differenc ebetween a top level domain name like:
.com
.net
.org etc,
and the free ones like:
.uni.cc
.co.nr
.tk
The later are really free and are intended for prpomotion of the name. So if you are not going to buy (maximum $10/yr though)a TLD(top level domain), then make sure you can be satisfied with the free extensions.

Though .tk may seem interesting for you, it is not that good. Your control panel there will not work properly when you have an urgency to change something. And over that, they put huge amount of ADs on the site.
Again they have inactivity limit(certain clicks a month or so),else they will delete your account. That happened to me and I waited for them to make my domain name again available for public so that I can again register.(the name I had registered didnot seem to be interesting for others, i believe)

But even though they told to make it public unless I buy it, they didnot do that for 2-3 months and I lost interest. i went straight to a domain seller site and bought my .com.

Now about .co.nr.
They promise(as far as I remember) no ADs for life-time and I personally believe that.(may be because they have relatively longer domain name!)
Just go for that if interested and dont forgeet to put your views here for others.

Free domains names from posting is not so much easy.......now a days a domain of .com, .org, .net and blah blah are at very very low cost. like $1.99,
But from posting on forums you getfree domains actually costing very high.......it required so much your time to post and earn.
