Shackman, thanx. I am still learning PHP so I got script for guestbook and mail, but in XHTML and CSS I am quite good , everything else is my work.

Mizako, how do you mean supress? I don't understand what did you mean by that wink.gif

Thanx, best regards.

Thought I'd drop by to say I'm extremly impressed with the layout, design and content of your site. You're wonderful with the CSS and XHTML. Although I'm sure you're tired of hearing it - I'll say it again, your photographs are wonderful. I especially liked Lines and Candle, but all of them are very nice.

The only tiny nit - not really a nit, more like an off-hand thought - I might have is the favicon. I wish it was 'more blue' to match with the rest of the site. But you're the design expert, and I'm sure you know what you're doing, so you can ignore this smile.gif

I think by a supressed menu, mizako meant having a 'collapsible' menu. I'm not sure if it's possible, although I've seen javascripts doing it quite well... it's usually useful when you want to conserve space, but with the sort of layout you have, I am not sure if it is necessary at all.

Cheers, and keep us posted on new developments. It would be absolutely wonderful if you could create a mailing list and inform users when new photos are uploaded and other information - provided you have the time, of course.

Mama Soap, thanx, yes favicon, your idea is quite good. I never thought of that actually and I am no website wizard wink.gif, I am just a guy who is chilling out with XHTML and CSS, hehe.

Nah, I like to hear people that they liked my picture, it is better then not tho ohmy.gif

I have done a Javascript menu for one website before, but I think it is not wise idea cause some people ignore Javascript, so I am not doing any navigation in that language.

About inform mailing list, I like that idea too, I will try to do it someday, thanx for those wonderful guidelines +1pts from me actually.

Chears.

Hello again smile.gif

Anyone who can make a site like that is a wizard as far as I am concerned cool.gif I'm glad if any of that helped. I'll look forward to any updates that you might have, and whenever they come. I also prefer to keep JS and DHTML to a minimum, and perhaps use it, if at all, in such a way that it degrads gracefully for incompatible browsers.

Anyway, good luck on the site in general, and thanks for taking time on my site and the rep point as well (I'm trying to figure out how the system works here, haven't quite looked around at rep thing). Best of luck, and if you don't mind, maybe I can put a link to your site on mine? Provided, of course, that you don't have a problem with that.

Cheers!

It's amazing, very fast. Very fast indeed, I've been having problems with my internet connection still amazing, even to a dial up user. Although you might think of adding a note that thumbnails open in a new window, I know one thing I like about firefox is middle click to open new tab, and because they use Javascript to opne in a new window middle click doesn't work! Not a probem, just something I think I should be aware of before clicking and getting an error.

That is a beauty of CSS and XHTML and if I used also some beauties of PHP with include function then I could gain few seconds more but that more of details rather then true speed. I also used jpeg's images with compression ratio of 80% which is rather too much for internet (60 oercent would do OK anytime).

That definitely is a well designed website. It is easy to read, loads quick, and filled with good content. The images are amazing and everything blends together amazingly. I like the dark background because it makes your eyes see the actual website better and doesnt attract much attention. Finally, the content is pretty good and the picture you have taken are amazing. Keep up the work and the only suggestion i have is that you might want to put a summary of what the site is about on the main page.
