i reinstalled firefox and used the above "tweaks" and there is a huge difference. biggrin.gif

im on shaw lite(86k) and my webpages load almost instantly now. biggrin.gif

No, there is a site which tests the time it takes to load a load of tables...

i cant remember where it was, but i used it when i made these tweaks, and the time was about 1/4 the original once id done it

Works! Not very much faster, but on my *BLEEP* 56k connection, it helps. (No I can't get ADSL, my parents are tight-asses)
