 i know it's easy to create your own forum avatar (or snatch it from another site), but in case you think you want some anime-style avatar which you can configure easily (in flash), here's one: http://dookyweb.com/avatars.swffeatures include customizing skin color, eyes, chin, hair, mouth and facial hair. plus you can add some accessories if you like to suit your personality.  one small feature missing is the ability to send it to yourself (the email button doesn't seem to work), but you can make a screen capture (just press "Print Screen"), then paste and crop the image in photoshop, paint or any other image editing software you have according to the size specifications for avatars (trap17 is set for 64x64).sample below:  enjoy! and hope to see your avatar creations posted here.

I went there on Firefox not too long ago and it doesn't seem to be able to save. I managed by print screening it and saving it, but I prefer my own more

I've tried this before but yea you can't use the email feature or save it. It's cool how you can customize the avatar.

I use photoshop to create a lot of stuff, cooler than that stuff, really. I'll post them later to show you.

ya thats a pretty cool way to make an avatar, i mean it would be useful for those who can't or aren't that good with the photoshop. plus even though i can use a photoshop thats an interesting way to make an avatar, i just think they should make it so that the users can save it as a file onto their computer.
