The game often will not let me attack someone if they have too many or to little troops. I think I could take some of those people it won’t let me attack because even though they have more soldiers I have more trained soldiers and more weapons. What is the rule for when you can and cannot attack someone?

Based off personal experience, I think it's no more than 3x your army size
for max and min.

It is more like 2X smaller your army and maybe a little bit more for larger but it def isn't up to 3X.

I've had the same problem, cause my current rank places me between people with lots and lots more soldiers then me. e.g. 10.000 vs my 500 !! But i can not attack them (maybe I should not try either).
but that means I have to attack people that are alot lower in rank then me. But i don't want to do that either....

ramon, you don't have to attack people who have a lower rank than you - you can attack anyone with an army size relatively close to yours. In your case, you can attack anyone, no matter the rank, whose Army Size is between 0 and 1000, so I believe spawn_syxx9 is correct.

A good strategy in the Army System is to either have a large army size - 2 million or more soldiers - or a small army size - around what ramon has because people will not be able to attack you.

I wouldn't recommend doing this early in the game because you will not be able to attack anybody, so your rank would be pretty much stay the same. I know this from experience because the person I want to attack has about 200,000 soldiers less than me, so the only solution is to kill off excess soldiers.

You can attack up to 3x your size or down to 1/3 your size. So with 1000 soldiers in the army you can attack anyone up to 3000 soldiers.

You can also attack people down to 1/3 of your strenght so with 1000 soldiers you can attack someone with 334 soldiers or more.

trained or untrained does not matter. with 10000 soldiers it's up to 30000 and down to 3334.

Well then I shall have to attack all those 1/3 my army size hehe

i have 200k troop and i can only attck ppl 120k-350k

I think this rule is fair enough, even though sometimes it's hard to find troops on the same range of attack

But usually you will want to attack larger armies because then you will get more money. Smaller armies won't give you as much.
