Yeh, i want an Optimus OLED Keyboard. However, it costs a bomb at about 1564.37 US$ for a mere keyboard. By the way, i guess it's not waterproof. Don't feel like owning one other than some reliable and affordable keyboards that exist well enough as a brandname.

I've never seen a keyboard with a lock on it to keep people from stealing it |

Ive just been reading about the "projector keyboard" its so sweet! it sines a light on ur desk, and u just touch the light and the keys work!!! Sounds nice, but.. What if I need to use the keyboard in the open i.e. where there is bright sunlight The light coming from the device doesn't seem to be bright enough... and I doubt that the image (of the keys) would be clearly visible |

These keyboards seem nice but I prefer just buying a normal usb keyboard for my desktop or laptop since I prefer not use the laptop keyboard unless its an emergency.

Hmmm... i just got a wireless keyboard about 2 months ago... and i was so happy with myself because
i had the coolest keyboard in my eyes. I could sit in my chair with the keyboard on my lap and just type away. Now i feel very out dated. haha. Is it really infrared light? is it some special frequency. I thought you couldn't see infrared light. Now, granted, you cant see it in the air, but you can see it on a table... like a lazer. At first i though that maybe the sound of your fingers hitting a table would sound annoying after a while, but you can project that keyboard on any surface! I wonder how that would work on a not-so-flat surface? Or even a slightly inclined surface? Maybe the device should have (or already has) some type of keystone setting like on a projector. I definitely want one! |

wow it's certainly cool! It would save you a lot of space when you aren't using it!

That optimus OLED Keyboard while a wicked idea for a keyboard, to me it just doesnt scream practical.
I use my G15 keyboard alot to the point of i start wearing the finish on the keys within the first month. Imagine accidentally knocking a key off it, or scratching the keys a keyboard that expensive u wouldnt want to use. |

Also I just thought of another problem with the optimus OLED, what if you wanted to clean the space behind your keys on your keyboard? This area gets very dirty, and most keyboards let you pop the keys right out but I wouldn't think that the LED one would... or would it? Would each key just sort of plug into the base?
Thanks I think this guy is training for the 2032 olympics: "Shortest forum posting". He's pretty good, he might win! |
