Try SmartFTP. Its a well done client and free.

But I use CuteFTP, apparently to be the best FTP client out there... (well people say that) but its not free sad.gif
You can get a 30 days free trial anyway.

I use mostly ftp commander (free version)
http://www.internet-soft.com/ftpcomm.htm

It works for most of the job I have to do with ftp.
Another option for just upload a few files is using the ftp from the command prompt (windows or linux).
Once you know the command set it works also.

The basic commands are :
CODE
bin   (switch over to binary mode)
asc  (switch over to ascii mode)
put [filename]   (upload a file)
get [filename]   (download a file.)

Most of the commands can be read when you give the command help.
Basic tool but available on any computer with an operating system (if it's not disabled)

I use SmartFTP.
It is free for personal, educational and non-commercial use. It has a cool interface and it is very easy to use. I have heard about Filezilla but haven't used it yet, because I am happy with SmartFTP's service.

I use SmartFTP, it rocks, it never disconnects(for me) and it haves a neat and nice interface, I never tried FileZilla, but I am fine enough already with the SmartFTP client.

I recommend SmartFTP. biggrin.gif

I go for File Zilla , it is totally Free and very easy to use. I used it to upload my forum install files to Trap17 server and done but when I used Ip Switch FTP I can't do anything because it is very hard to use and it isn't free so I think you should go for File Zilla.
