QUOTE(Goosestaf @ May 31 2006, 10:16 AM) *

well i opened it once, then it broke :S
and by that, it loaded fine, then when i clicked a link it wasnt found.
then when i clsoed the site and clicked ur psot link again it wasnt found :S . . . puzzeling lol
Either way, not a bad site smile.gif
proffesional looking style. i liked the 100% width image at the top of the page and the site title tab lowered from it, . . nice touch smile.gif
the overlaying heading image and tabs are clean and simple too, no complaints smile.gif

well done smile.gif

I agree and that dodgy breaking thing happened to me too... got at the site once and couldn't get it to work at all after??? whats going on???
Anyhow I like the overlay and I would agree that the top image was maybe a bit random...?
I think the main problem is that failing thing... maybe look into it?

I am unable to find an error in the loading problem! It happened to me at first and then.. it stopped. But I thought that it was gone. Could it be the host?

Any help on this would be appreciated!

ya it looks really professional, but there are some things you should note:

1. There are some sections that have 0 listings in the directory, such as references->library.

2. The sitemap isn't very useful. Try using a tree to describe the structure.

Cheers

Yu have very good information about webdesign. I think it is a very organized site and very inforomative up front. The software covers large areas of interest. You should post your website under the coding section of this forum.

the new site is at http://www.faberdesigns.com/

this is a neat and professional looking website, i love the color scheme and the placement of each components on the page.

there seems to be a problem with IE7, the contact link in the header falls apart from the box in the header, I've put the image below.

I think that you need to work on cross-browser compatibility, several page layout falls apart for example the wordpress page in CMS section.

the rest of the site is superb and keep the work going on.

I'm extremely impressed. The layout is clear and easy to read, the images are effective and fairly small, and the pages are organised logically. I like the colour scheme and it's impressively coded. It could, however, take a while to load for people with slower connections than mine. Enabling caching would make it better for people.

As many before me has said, your site looks very professional. I really like how you have the layout, its simple but appealing. The navigation is very easy as well. I'm not sure if you fixed the "problem" but your site seemed to have loaded instantly for me. I hope to see it when it is completely done and I get to see some music tracks, downloads, and an updated portfolio!

Keep up the site, I'm sure you will get it going pretty quickly if you just stick with it. I wish you the best of luck have fun with it as well.
