I don't like Konfuze much... I guess it's good for beginners, it's written in VB6 (as far as I can remember) so for the end user to connect to a server he needs the .EXE + the VB6 runtime files. Now, im not saying it's bad, im just saying its not my favorite. I think Gamemaker (http://www.gamemaker.nl/) is great for making any types of games. At first it may seem a bit unproffesional but it's really good. Making MMORPGs in it will probably be somewhat harder then using an engine like Konfuze, but luckily there are some .dlls that simplify this for us using Gamemaker (I don't remember exactly what they're called, check out the forums).

I don't want to break your enthousiasm but i'm afraid it's impossible to make such MMORPG on your own, even when you're working in group i think it's a hell of a job to get it done..
First of all you need money, lots of money so you can buy a high quality-server with an amazing bandwith!
Second thing, you've to find yourself a team of talented programmers, designers, 3d/2d artists and webmasters... you can't simply fix the job on your own!
Making an MMORPG cost lots of time and money so you would better play one of a team which works day and night on it! (e.g. WoW or Guildwars)

Interesting engine, frankly I'd rather make my own which I've done before and doing again..damn addictive. But this is a pretty good thing for newbie or the downright lazy tongue.gif

If I'm going to use an engine, I'm going to use one programmed in a competent language - which I can classify as everything that's not VB or Java.
