Thanks for the links. I'll be sure to check them out later. I downloaded a game make before, but it wasn't free, so the demo version came with no instructions. The game that I ended up making was 8 MB, did nothing, and had loads of bugs. I just hope the one you provided has no bugs.

Thanks again!

Thanks for the link. I have used a few game makers previously but they were limited in the gameplay or created games that were buggy or not compatable with many OSs. I will try to check out the trial version over the week, the only downside is that you have to pay to use it for more than 30 days!

well you could get the full version but i can't say how, i tried to do a game design off of the neverwinter tools, i have creative design skills, like what kind of characters and creastures to have, i have a knack for weapon designing as well.

but the lack of programming skills to do is where i fall short. dry.gif huh.gif sad.gif

I use G Max. It is free and it is very reliable. Also lots of games use G Max as their 3D modeling program. Such as the FPS Quake.

The screenshots look extremely familiar, I KNOW I've seen the exact ones on another 3D Game Maker's website... Maybe it's name was changed?
Anyway, the program seems good, but like all of the other 3D game creation tools it probably (maybe not...) lacks the inituitive feature to allow designers to create plain simple objects instead cztegorizing what you can make into things like Weapons, People (animals, monsters, etc...), Cars/Vehicles, etc...

I took a look at this program a little deeper, and it appears it displays the 3DGS logo untill you pay almost 900 dollars, even if you pay 200 dollars you still have to display the logo, that should be removed the instant you start paying for the program...
I think they need to re-think there packages...

Yol! I'm going to check out the tutorials link....I've tryed using it for making a small game of my own a few months back, but with all the work in the end of the year and the upcoming exams I had to put my project in the deep freeze until I get something useful to rocket me into the environment. Maybe I'll find it in there;)....maybe.

Thank you very much for the links. I can't say that I want to learn C++ (already working on Ruby) but if its that good, then maybe I'll give it a try, and if its better than what I'm using I'll start learning C++ earlier than I thought I would. Well thanks!!!
