Hi guys,
Anyone here played Notrium? It's an amzing, free survival game available from the above link. I found it in a pc mag, and I still can't believe it's free. The basic storyline is that you have crashlanded on an unknown planet. and you have to survive, fighting off aliens, hunger, thirst, fatigue and staying healthy. It's fully modable and comes with a map editor, so you can design your own games based on the game engine.
Please, give it a try and tell me what you think; I definetly liked it. biggrin.gif
The link to Notrium and many of Ville Monkkonenen's other great games is hee:

I had a try of the site (not specifically Notrium) and thought it was an enjoyable set of games...not the best games I've played but they seemed simple enough to me and they weren't a great drain on my PC or bandwidth like some free games are (thinks Dink Smallwood, size-wise)

I still think Dink Smallwood (search download.com for it) and GunBound are the better type of freeware games...but the games on the above site are definitely worth a quick go at if you're bored :-)

I esp. liked the gladiator fighting one...very interesting and novel control method (move with arrow keys and control sword with mouse)
