So.....I'm too cheap to buy a domain name for 10 dollars so I went searcing for some sites that give way free domains. What was the site name you ask? domain-4free.com. I put in some info. and waited for an email. They sent me one and they wrote this.

mmm... it's seems to be too good to be true, but maybe they insert some banner or something like that in your website domain like "TK" domains.
Let us know if your dot com domain is approved, and give us a link to this website!!! |

I think it's a scam and try co.nr , it gives you a domain like name like this: name.co.nr You just can't upload any files on their server and you have to give their link on your main page. It has to be visible and you don't have to scroll down to see it. |

Turns out the guy who "said" he could get me a free domain thought that my site wouldnt get too much hits so it was not approved. ANyway, I guess i'll stick with my .us.tc domain

I know domain4free gives away free top level domains but in exchange for a link or banner on the top of the site which is using it. As far as I know there are no such things as free domains. Posting for domains is a form of paying for domains.

That website does look as though it will work, but all you have to do is to put a redirect on the webpage which has .com. And redirect it to your site hosted somewhere else. I adivse requestion hosting from Trap17. They have the best around.

$20 to buy domain + hosting is better have to put ad in our page...no so proff look i think....
