There are large spaces everywhere in this template, where the images aren't touching eachother. I'd check your HTML tables and CSS to see what's causing that.
![]() A rollover on the buttons at the top would be nice, it just helps to see which link you're about to click on. Also, I see no real space where you can put the title of the site... At least not where it would be that large or visible. Finally, the background seems to have an occasional grid pattern that acts like some of those optical illusions and makes dots dance around The general idea is good, and the design looks great, it just needs those final fixes to make it work. |

It looks really nice, I like the layout and the banner. The colors are nice as well but it almost looks too small. I would recommend making it a little larger even if you aren't going to fill in some of the space for content. I don't really know what the two content boxes are there for so I could be wrong. It depends on how you are coding it.

Okay... close to midnight here, and I'm not in best self, so I'll probably keep this brief. My apologies in advance.
Small Problems: Notice that the background doesn't tile as smoothly as I'd like it to. I second rvalkass, check out on the spaces. Mmm... hover effects on the links would be nice. Plain CSS, and subtle... but existant The font size a bit too small, perhaps? Or maybe my FF is just configured wrong, dunno... What's great: Makes me realize red and gray can actually go quite well together I like layouts with photographs, so this is impressive sans photographs. Clean and sleek. Nicely done overall I look forward to your finished stuff! |

thanks for the replies and your comments, much appreciated!
RVKLASS, im not sure why it looks that way to you, but here, using internet explorer, it doesn't look like that..everything is connected..i'll have to look into css and see what i can do with the links, im not very good with that. |

Hmmm... your Photoshop skills are excellent, but I noticed that you use tables and NO CSS. You should try to learn XHTML and CSS, this will make coding websites easier for you. CSS helps you to control the site more easily than the conventional code generated by Dreamweaver and FrontPage.
BTW, the design looks good and as mentioned, the red and gray (or grey... whatever you want to call it) go together quite nicely Your background hasn't been sliced properly, all you need is a 3X3 image (that i have attached below) ![]() or you can right-click and save the file from this link: http://img160.imageshack.us/img160/1569/backgroundpng5es.png If you feel that the background is too small, just open the image in paint and make it a 5X5 diagonal line... I like the layout and color scheme but as said above the scale seems a bit small, at least in my opinion and their does seem to be alot of unneccesary white space just within the template it self so if you could kinda reduce that I think it would give it a much tighter cleaner feel to it. The question I did have was paul since its just an image how can you tell that he isnt using any CSS ? It isnt possible to view the code just looking at an image is it?
