I have the following domains parked at http://trystim.trap17.com
http://teq2.info http://teq1.info http://trystim.info but after the main page if you click any of the links it changes the url in the address bar any ideas as to why would be helpful. thanks in advance. |

Your links lead to like http://trystim.trap17.com/blah.html while they should just lead to blah.html. When you make a link, don't use the full url, just the filename you want to lead to. For example, your forums lead to: trystim.trap17.com/forums when it should lead to /forums

hrmm well i went and changed the urls etc etc but it still does it. any clues?

No zip look at your url my friend, if you go to http://teq2.info and click on the forums link instead of it saying http://teq2.info/forums it says http://trystim.trap17.com/forums
or for the gallery it should say http://teq2.info/eq2/gallery but it says in the url/address bar http://trystim.trap17.com/eq2/forums hope that is more clear to understand. and maybe will help to profer the help/advice i need to correct it. |

It is basically a redirecting you to the "real" website. Those domains are simply setup as a redirect (without URL masking) so you will always get the xxx.trap17.com. If you want to use those domains you have to register them with the Trap17 name server and go to the place where you bought the domains and point them to the Trap17 name server.

ahh ok so then i guess it is off to the request hosting section and then i can set up the
teq1.info and trystim.info as sub domains on my teq2.info site i guess lol thanks for the help |

I know wat you are talking about, I experienced this when I had a trap account. Take one of your domain names and request a change of your site in request hosting forums. Then all the paths will be the same as 1 of your .infos. But we would prefer you wouldn't do this as it wastes limited time the hosting staff have at the moment, could you please wait till everything settles down and exams are over. Then would be the ideal time to ask |
