Hi!
AhPlace.com is shutting because of hacking attacks of one of their admins.Too bad, it was such a great hosting place and new.They existed only 10 months  . -OY- the owner of AhPlace is now opening new free hosting service. Interesting future is that its VU*[virtually unlimited] which mean that you have unlimited space and bandwidth. AHPlace was ad-less but i heard that new hosting will put on your sitte link back. at a first glance, it looks great, BUT:
1.I had an account on ahplace, but I had to quit with them, as my site was loading very slow (maybe / probably the problem was on my side, though I`ve got a quite good connection: ~1mb/s)... 2.it seems a bit SF  - no ads, no nothing - how will they get the money to maintain the servers, pay for the bandwidth etc..3.I might try it, but not right now - for now, I`ll stick with trap17 (for testing of my future site - don`t know when it`ll be ready )... |

1. Problem was probably from your side because i never had problems with loading.
2. this is just a some kind of beta version, so they dont have ads YET. |

that seems promising, but i am really fond of trap, and i don't see myself changing hosts for quite a few years. and i'd probably shift to paid hosting once i get my own money and pay my own bills. gahd, i'm suddenly longing for independence! just as the same, trap's really giving me a nice time, especially here in the forums... you, know... i get to bash some people as discreetly as possible so i won't get a warning.
 okay i was just kidding with the bashing thingy...

That web hosting sounds real good. Well, if im in the need of makign a website, ill stick with Trap17
(as everybody here on forums may say) but that host seems like covering all the needs for a simple website, so i may use it for alternative webs i wanna do. Also, i've never heard of Virtually Unlimited, but sounds great.Thanks for the review MusicOnly. The site sounds too good to be true, I tryed signing up but they have a activation code they hide in there "Terms Of Use" thing and I cant find it. I gave up so ill just stay here, Unless someone wants to give me the code
 .But Virtually unlimited Storage space and bandwidth is very apealling. |
