Ok,

Since a new year is coming around, i would like to give my site a bit more spunk to it, meaning give more things for people to do, for people to look at, for things that people can interact with the site. I dont mean like a games section, i mean like things that i should add to the site.

I allready plan on adding a Website Review Service, an awards ceremony for websites (where people vote on which site they like the best) , i plan on bringing in a new MySpace thing for the site, to attract Harry Potter fans from myspace. The myspace script i have, i might just take it down and put it back up when the year starts as a new thing..

But what else can i add that will get more people to come to the site? besides more Harry Potter content.

Well you site already looks great, but you could always make a new logo/banner. People i think like that sometimes. I mean i can't really see any physical improvements you could make on the site.

I wouldn't put your site on a top site unless you dont care about your google ranking. If you dont care then i would do that. Maybe a few. That way you could get some more traffic for free. Your site looks well made and im sure could compete. You could always make you own top site for harry potter fans. That could work out nicely.

Add AJAX interfaces to your site, this will give it sleek and good layout and looks and an easy user interface. Moreover you simultaneously upgrade your site to Web 2.0 stanadrd.

i'm that far away from learning ajax, lol basically no time soon? so that kind of leaves that out

I agree, your website is looking very good with the design, the base of a successful site is already done, so I think you can work more on other areas. An Ajax shoutbox would be good for the site too, allowing guests to interact with both yourself and other guests who visit the site. I went to your forum, and its sad to see that it is not active, I believe you should span your forum out to more things rather than just RPGs. The forum is the ultimate interaction place for members, and I am sure your visitors would appreciate some Harry Potter content being discussed in the forum.

And lastly, how about adding some interactive media? Some flash e-cards for the coming festive seasons, some beautiful harry potter wallpapers, you can never get too much of these kind of media.

I think i might add the interactive media in a little later in the year, mainly because i am swamped with allot of what i am doing now, and i would have to make (not capible of) or find the stuff

I dont just have RPG's on there, i have a forum too and i am planning on taking the RPG off because no one does those things anymore (was the actual webmaster's idea's)

the forums are not very active because my forum service recently upgraded, and allot of skins havent beeen converted to the new version yet, so i am saving to officaly open it in the new year.q
