I have done with the Rules and Ban Listings for my site after spending the whole three days to compile them , I need your advice about them , thanks a lot :

The rules


Please read the following rules before registering. Not doing so will get you banned.

LIABILITY
While the administrators and moderators of these boards will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these boards express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.

GENERAL RULES
You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of these boards have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered with the creation of your MegaMan Online Account being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised. Your avatar must not exceed 20KB and 100 x 100 pixels. Your signature can contain four lines of word OR one picture (Max 40KB) and two lines of word. Do NOT ask to be on the Staff team, as it will only lower the chances for you to become one and do NOT request Staff powers unless it is necessary.

SPAMMING
According to the MegaMan Online Boards, spam will be described as any outside link posted on the forums for use as your personal gain. Examples would be a link to a service in which you get commission for a user following that link. One or more posts like this is considered spamming and immeadiate action will be taken.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF
Any attempt to destory or hamper the functions dicussion boards will result in immeadiate action to terminate your account and notify the proper authorities of your actions. This will result in notification to your internet service provider.

EMAIL INFORMATION
Your email address associated with your MegaMan Online Account is used only for confirming your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one).

ZERO TOLERANCE
A zero-tolerance act has been approved by the MegaMan Online staff for the discussion boards that in the event that any part of these Rules are broken, immeadiate action will take place and your account will be suspended until further notice, or terminated.

BOTS
If a (spam) bot is found on the boards, the account of the user that is running the bot will be terminated indefinately. Bots are strictly banned from the boards because they take up a great deal of valuable server resources. One bot can use the same amount of data as thousands of users, which, cause the boards to be hampered. Bots can be defined as the same as malicous mischief.

DISCLAIMER
More information may be added to these Rules as fit with no notification to the user. It is reccomended that you periodically check back to these Rules.

By posting anywhere on the boards, you agree to be bound by these conditions.



And here is the Ban listings :


When you are doing something wrong in the forums, you can get an official warning or a ban. Here are the listings:

Step 1: First Warning
When you do a single con on the boards, any of the following may happen:
* Get banned for one day (only in the really bad cases)
* Probation for three to seven days
* Just get a warning

Step 2: First Ban
Oops. You just messed up after a warning. Now you shall get banned.
* You will be banned for three to seven days.

Step 3: Second Warning
So you're back from a ban, but another mistake. Any actions may occur:
* Probation for seven to fourteen days
* Just get another warning

Step 4: Second Ban
Bad choice, fella. You're banned again.
* You will be banned for seven to fourteen days.

Step 5: Final Warning
This is your last chance. Don't fail it.
* You will be warned for the last time.

Step 6: Final Ban
You snooze, you lose. BAN CANNON!
* You will be permanently banned from MegaMan Online.

Q: What is probation?
A: Probation alters you from editing your profile, but you can still surf the forum.

Q: What is a ban?
A: A ban keeps you from surfing the entire forum. You will be unable to do anything in the forum.

So there we have it. As long as you be good here, you won't get any bans.

It all looks fine to me as you have outlined everything but have you checked that there are not any loopholes in your rules?

I have slight adjustment to your rules there

I assume your using ipb or phpbb (think they have warning set up) anywho

1. Warning
2. 30% warnings equals a suspention of 1 week
2. 60% warnings 14 days on top of no posting for another week
3. 100% instant ban.

Although your giving them a chance to clean up their act in posting, you giving them to much freedom cause all they have to do is get to the final warning and then play it safe by either making another account. Or actually posting nice. Don't give loopholes out like that.

Of course you can always make effective points about those who break hte rules as well, so everyone will catch on quickly.
