Microsoft User Research is conducting a remote Usability study for the next version of Office. This study will be conducted between October 30th and November 1st and is open to US residents. The study can be completed on your own equipment at your own pace during this time frame, and is expected to take 2 hours or less. All study participants will receive a software or hardware gratuity from a list that includes Microsoft Office 2003 Professional, wireless keyboard/mouse combinations, games and much more! Your feedback can have an impact on future versions of software used by millions of people.
The following are the basic criteria for participation: US Citizen High-speed Internet connection (where you’ll be performing the study) Non-IT Professionals Employed full-time Additional Criteria includes performing two of the following tasks at work: Create templates or forms at work using a software tool Create spreadsheets with formulas or spreadsheets that import/export data from other applications Create WebPages or websites for the Internet/ Intranet using scripting or markup language or a Web authorizing tool Perform any database/database reporting activities for work If you are selected for the study you will be asked additional questions to see if your experience level makes you a good fit for this study.
