OK, dudes, this is the point: I have my domain (Sonorama.NET) currently hosted here in Trap17.com, but due to my short time for keeping posting here in your forums (thing that i really enjoy), I decided to move to your paid hosting service at Computinghosting.com. I purchased the S3 permium service and in response I got a few mails, in which they said that my space was ready to be used by me... But NO!!!! what a big lie: I was told that my temporary site would be: http://64.69.35.170/~sonoram/ and I could have access to my cPanel thru http://64.69.35.170/cpanel using the username and the password they provided to me...

IT DIDN't WORK, and I am really getting upset, because I have only a few hosting credits left here in Trap17 and I REALLY want to start transferring the data from server to server....

Just please, do not tell me Sonorama.NET is working properly, cuz I KNOW IT.... it's still hosted by Trap17, but i am waiting for the time my user and pwd in Computinghost start working out...

PLEASE HELP ME!!! *upset*

Did you send in a Support request at: support_AT_computinghost_DOT_com ?? That'd see to your problem being solved way faster than posting here.

No, no, you didn't understan. I know Sonorama.NET is working properly..., Trap17.com is the currently hoster, but That's exactly what i meant: I just changed my mind and decided to change to your paid hosting service... (Computinghost.com) I already purchased the premium plan 3S, and received a few mails telling me that i can start uploading using this address: http://64.69.35.170/cpanel and using this one to see temporarily my new site: http://64.69.35.170/~sonoram/ BUT NOTHING HAPPENED!!!! And it is not my IPS, I already checked at school and at work and at my sister's PC (which uses a different IPS) and the same: NOTHING HAPPENS... This is the msg I get everytime i try to use the cPanel:

cPanel Login
Login Attempt Failed!

and this is the msg i get when i try to access http://64.69.35.170/~sonoram/

The requested URL /~sonoram/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.34 Server at alpha.xisto.com Port 80

Please, help me, cuz I need to transfer all my files from server to server before I change my DNS preferences... and I have already only .70 hosting credits in Trap17.com

Hi,

Your site is working perfectly.

Its only your internet provider. They have cached the DNS. It will take time depending on their refresh interval.

You can start uploading by connecting to our IP address : 64.69.46.210

Thanks.

Problems with my site...
Hi, I would like to let you know that my site settings are not working yet... I received your mail with details about the site even if I haven't pointed my domain to your servers... I am supposed to be able (according to the mail you sent) to start uploading my files in your server and to view my temporary site at http://64.69.35.170/~sonoram/ BUT I CAN'T!!!! And I am really getting dissapointed... because I am waiting to transfer my old files to the new server before I change my DNS preferences... BTW, my domain name is: sonorama.net Regards...

Hi, This issue has been resolved by our techs. The problem was, since all our servers are clustered. Duplicate DNS records are not allowed in our network. When your site was being setup using the Automated Procedure, Sonorama.net was already found in our network and hence the process stopped right there assuming that a duplicate site is being created.

When you posted the support ticket first, You did not mention that you were a Trap17 Client. The techs ran the DNS tests and found that your site was resolving perfectly to our network. We assumed this a DNS propagation error from the client side, until you told them that you were already hosted at Trap17. This is when the entire picture got clear and we transfered your site to our ComputingHost's Load Balanced servers and made the DNS change.

If you had mentioned it at the time of signup that you were a Trap17 Client, We could had avoided this confusion smile.gif Anyway, I m glad things are clear now and your domain is working perfectly.
