It sounds like you want to remove a banner that is enforced on your site by a free web host. Here's some things to think about and reasons why you shouldn't try to disable the banners.

I agree with Avalon, why are you using other free hosting plans when you can use Trap17? It's alot better than most of the free hosting plans out there, without banners.
So if you don't want any more banners on your site, then move here or find a hosting without the banners (which is very unlikely). |

Yes, the banners are the reason that your provider gave you the free service in the first place. That's one of their main sources of revenue right there, banner ads. By removing those ads you're almost definitely going to have your account deleted, and that's never ever good.

deleting a banner on a free host is usually a big no-no. Unless ur hosted by trap or someone that doesn't require ads. don't do it.
If u still do, can u see if the banner is there through php script? because then u can just do it easily. |

You will likely lose your hosting very quickly... Switch to trap17...or...if you are looking for something else, check out: www.free-webhosts.com (which is actually how I found trap17, and everything is great here!) |

I concure going to a ad hosted free hosting is not going ot help you out and plus it makes the website look ugly as well. So get your ad free hosting here and your good.

As has been said, removing ads from free hosts will probably get your account terminated, but I did find out today how to do it in CSS. If the ads are contained with elements that have a class or ID, in your CSS you set those elements to display:none, e.g.
CODE div#adcontainer { display:none; } You just have to look through your page and find out what names your provider is using to contain the ads. |
