Motorola RIZR Z3 Cell Phone After the RAZR comes RIZR (for riser). The all-new Motorola RIZR Z3 was showcased in Cape Town, South Africa. Also known as the Capri, the Z3 is available in a slider form-factor boasting quad-band GSM and EDGE support. The phone has Bluetooth capability, and a nice addition is the A2DP (advanced audio distribution profile) thrown in - you can conveniently use a wireless stereo headset with this phone. The Z3 is equipped with a 2 megapixel camera, and operation is like any other digital camera - in landscape orientation. MotoSYNC, a system for synchronizing phone data with Microsoft Exchange Server, is integrated into the phone. To expand the available memory, the RIZR Z3 has a microSD memory card slot (max 1GB). The phone doubles up as a digital audio player (don't they all, these days?). Supported formats include MP3, AAC, AAC+ and eAAC+. The guys at MobileBurn gave a once-over to the phone and were happy with the keypad's tactile response. Motorola claims a 3.25-hour talk-time and 9.25 days standby. The Motorola Rizr Z3 has a striking design with a great display and navigation controls. It also offers decent call quality and a pleasing feature set.Motorola does a slim slider phone well with the attractive and well-performing GSM Rizr Z3.But the only thing which is bad in this phone ,it has shaky speakerphone quality, and the camera didn't take the best pictures. Also, the microSD card slot is in an inconvenient location. Expect the Motorola RIZR Z3 to hit the market in H2 2006. No word on the pricing yet. The extended entry has a few more specifications. |

Same phone, different name and a little different look. I'm tired of all these R*ZR phones.
