This is not the way to get members. There are way too many forums out there, people just dont wnat to join the crappy little inactive ones.
First off its "Gaming" not "Gameing" And you have WAY TO MANY sections. You need to make your forum less generalised to be honest. You need a set topic. Not just random stuff. You need a unique idea for a forum to survive with the millions out there already. Also you need a domain name of your own, and hosted as your own. not on and under forumer. makes your forum look unprofessional. |

I am sorry to say, but cragllo is right. I have been involved in smaller forums and they are boring if you don't have anyone online. Get some members, and get publicity to your forum, use search engines, and stuff, then think about expanding, good luck luck with your forum

You are probably gonna need more in a forum than just topics to talk about. I made a web graphics site once and I didn't really have many people. Maybe 60 but half of them were inactive. Then I started using tutorials to help advertise. More and more people came and we started getting popular but there was still a lot of inactivity. If you offer people something they will start coming in. If you have contests or give tutorials or something and start advertising using them your forums will start jumping. At the moment there is no need for a bunch of moderators if there is nothing that they can moderate.

The WORST thing you can do when making a forum is ask for moderators. A lot of people make the mistake of getting too many moderators, and your stuck with a ratio of 5 mods, to 1 member..when it SHOULD most definitly be the other way around.
And random forums never work, people like to have one set topic, because then it gets just way too chaotic, if its just random. |
