I would like to say, that Office 2007 is "da bomb" and ownes everyother piece of software in the face. Now thats crazy, but Office 2007 and the new products are up to par now. smile.gif They have a cleaner interfacing and look a lot nicer. Also they are all free, and use the same product keys, so you can send you friends the software and give them your product key, since there all the same.

Anys please check it out HERE. Its nice, and you can download most everything for free, and its a stable release not like the Beta 1's.

Good luck, and please report any bugs here and stuff, or anything that you find wierd so we can discuss it. I thought it should be posted in software, but its a freebie stuff, so dowload it while you can. wink.gif

I saw a review of Office 2007 in PC World - it looks pretty nice. I am not to fond of the ribbon feature; I am more of a toolbar kinda guy, since I have been using real toolbar apps for ages now. The live preview feature is nice. I am wondering if Micro$oft will make anything useful happen with the open XML and Zip formats used in their new file formats (aka .docx, .xlsx, .pptx, etc.). I probably won't use Office 2007 for a while, since in my house we tend to be quite a bit outdated (I was using Windows 98 until May of 2005).

Thanks for the update Maine, I just started the downloads. I was going thru the Features List, and its seems pretty impressive!

And, its also about time they had an update!

Thanks for the link! I had heard Office 2207 was coming to Beta, but had not been notified it had been released. I'll have to check it out and maybe do a review of it for Trap17.

WOW! I just finished the install of MS Office 2007 Professional Plus and I was impressed by the new interface and removal of toolbars!

The new graphics for the software (including the fading tabs) are very appealing!

I'm loving it so far and have no bugs yet smile.gif!

yes, the new 2007 MS Office UI is great!!! I just pratice some function with it online demo. But the ribbon feature not seem be the new. Some software already implemented it like coreldraw and quarkxpress have similar function.
It got a lot of predefined templates, so speed your work. smile.gif
