I'm not sure if it the same for all versions of phpnuke, but in the version I have, (7.1) it's like this. In the folder called 'html' there is another folder called 'includes'. In there is a file called 'meta.php', this is the file that contains the meta tag content. I hope that helps.

go to your file manager or ftp and look for this file
includes/meta.php then edit your meta tags from there. |

You can also use my addon module, nukeSEO, that provides tools for optimizing your site for search engines, including editing the META tags through your browser. Like phpNuke, nukeSEO is open source and can be downloaded for free from http://nukeSEO.com

Php-nuke is very strict on copyright matters if they are not bought. So, editing meta tag is quite complicated even for many webmasters since they keep somewhere else. So, the best way to edit is get some addons like nukeseo.com is providing, it will allow you to edit according to what php-nuke allows you to do so.
I too recommend you to get addons rather than trying to edit the core file which may in turn make you violate the copyright stuff. |
