Hi,
i've just installed the latest SVN of mediawiki, and it installed just fine, but now the wiki wont show up.
Only thing I see is "�".
Could this be a problem with the advert text?

i've just installed a SMF forum on the same space, and when i enable zlib compression I'm getting the same result (weird output).
Without compression, the forums works just fine.

So it seems to be a problem with zlib.
Guess I'll have to figure out how to disable compression in mediawiki, as it defaults to 'use compression', as the install scripts detects zlib on the server...

I've commented the line which loads compression in mediawiki and now it works just fine.

So that confirms it. there seems to be a problem with compression, server side.
