Hi there,

A handful of questions for you regarding approval for Qupis accounts:

1) Will I not get an activation email until approval? I'm guessing the activation email must be sent manually, as it's been a few minutes with no response. I'm also guessing this is not an issue with having a hotmail addy, as I got approval for this forum immediately.

2) If this is the case - how long does it typically take? Sorry for being impatient! smile.gif

3) How is an application judged? Obviously, if the requested subdomain is blatantly phreaky (the list of deleted accounts is ripe with these), it'll get refused. On other cases, how are you deciding what does and what does not get approved? I note that there were no questions about site purpose on the app form.

Many thanks in advance,

- Q

read this sticky:
http://www.trap17.com/forums/manual-approv...pis-t48368.html

how long? subject to availability of an admin who will approve it of course. wink.gif people live in different time zones, and you may not share the same time as the one approving your free hosting request at qupis.com.

if you have a pressing requirement, you can address your query to support@xisto.com.

You will have to wait for the activation mail until approval. We had recently seen a lot of abuse so we had to change the settings from automatic to Manual approval

It would take up to 1 or 2 working days as it is manually approved by a technician

There are a lot of reasons...Absurd names like "dhksdhf" or illegal domain/sub domain names i.e rapidget.com, post.qupis.com will be rejected immediately
