I try to install mambo but i can not pass step 3 (confirm url, path , email and password )
At path it's show like this : Path : /var/www/html/mysite.trap17.net/mb But i think it not true? What is the real path? pls tell me. thank you. |

well actually it's going to be more like this:
/home/whateveryourloginisforcpnael/ I had trouble with that one too. Except I used Joomla, but that is just a spin off of Mambo anyway, better in my opinion. |

First of all, your problem is exactly what Moolkye said. The path to the root directory ca be found after you login to your cPanel on Trap17. In the cPanel, in the left-hand column, you will see a box that says 'General server information'. Under this, you will find your 'Root Directory', which is usually in the form of 'home/cPanelUsername/'
I reccommend Joomla instead of Mambo because they are the same software, but Joomla! is frequently updated and is the NEW Mambo! Hope this helps! -Paul |
