This code is to simply check if your Norton Antivirus is working probably. Not sure if it will work on other AVs.
The following code is provided by EICAR. QUOTE X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!SH+H* Copy the content from the code into Notepad and save it as 'eicar.com' If your Norton AV is working probably a pop up of a Virus Alert should pop up and removed the virus immidiately. |
