Recently i found a cool script, a free script which you can use to start your own file uploading and sharing service, which you can also make it free or for people to pay for, or even both.


The script is made with php, it doesn't work with databases in mysql, only with txt databases, i mean, you do not need to create and configure too many files.


You just need to download the script, which is less then 1 MB, then extract it, then open the read me text file, and finally, you just need to configure a file named config.php which is really very easy, then upload all files in a directory on your site or in a new website, and change mod certain files and folders to 777 (linux configuration).


You should also insert your google adsense code in the ads pages, it is very easy too, if you do not have a google adsense account, create one now.


I already have done all of this, it is very easy, i uploaded to show you how it looks at first sight, but i will changed the skin and i will add some add-ins too from their website, for instance, a free image upload script and a contact form.

Nice, thanks for the link. I have tested it, and it looks good. I think I need a site with more bandwidth and space before I could use it though.

Plus one more thing, you can change the skin or template, the logo, the links, the affiliate links in the footer and header, and add more mods and hacks, as well as change the skin too a better one, they have awesome ones in their site, all and everything for free.

You can also mod all the pages with your own designs, scripts, et cetera.

You can do what you want with it! Use your imagination!

Thanks garbage, but there's no need, i will use it with my trap17 site which is about free flash clocks, i mean, i will give all the chance to upload and share all their made and discovered flash clocks, i will change a few things and then i will upload.

But if you want to exchange links or something, we can do it, i will create a page with "friends" links, you are invited to enter it, if you want.

That's a really great script to have. I would use it if I get my own server I can afford that much space. I do wonder why they made it free but hey I don't mind I would probably customize it a bit. If I create my site movers site I can use that so they can temporarily store the files or something like that who knows.

it would be nice maby if YOU were doing some kind of gallery of artwork or something but giving out the url's for other people to use would be BANDWIDTH SUICIDE ... if you have like a bunch of traffic... cause imagine uploading ur sig to ur site and putting it as ur sig for a forum.... then imagine A BUNCH of people uploading their sigs to YOUR site and using it on a forum >.<

That is one of the major set backs for file hosting sites your speninf most of your money paying for BW. Look at filefront 44.17 Terabytes worth of files. Imagine that getting downloaded on a daily basis. that would wipe out everyone account on trap and asta.

My account alone has used up 10.81 TB worth of bw, so your file hosting would have to be ad loaded along with many many sponsors ot help cover the costs for that.

I seen a few scripts as well, did see a ajax script that did the same might have to look for that.
