Ok so I am new to PHP and I run a wapsite which is coded in both PHP and WML, Now I really want to add a feature to my wap site which will allow them to play a popular card game from a game called Triple Triad, now I have been strugling with this for a while now and I am trying to make a wap version of it but got nowhere. I would like to ask if anyone who is good at programming, if they could help me, it would be great if anyone could help. Well I dont have any sort of starting script but working on getting a web forum add on of this game to try to adapt it to work on wap phones. Please if anyone can help in anyway please contact me here or by email at rldowling03@gmail.com

I know that game rather well, I assume that you have played it online. Although it's not impossible, It would be rather hard on a cell phone due to all the graphics/sound/ drop an dragging and all that.
What I suggest is that you get a hold of triple triad websites and see what kind of programming is actually required for this. From the sites that I have seen you have to create a software package for this bad boy. I don't even think wap coding could pull this off correctly without chopping alot of it down to almost to a game of solitaire. Here are some sites that actually still playing an online version. http://www.tripletriadextreme.com/index.php http://www.ttadvance.ca/ http://www.ttnetwork.ca/ Also I recommend getting a hold of wappy (member here) he's the only one i know who good at coding wap so he might be able to help you there. |

You don't really 'code in WAP', as such - WML is just the markup language (based on XML). You can use PHP or any other scripting language to spit out your dynamic WML code just as you would with HTML pages.
