Would it be possible to "shut down" my site for a while? I probably won't have access to a computer, and if I do, it'll be about $9 USD/minute. I won't be able to do anything to my site, and there are at most 4 people who have ever gone there, so would it be possible to just take it down for a while?

I'm not sure that the admin can "stop" your account, because the hosting credits system is fully automated to suspend accounts every hour. If I were you, I'd just post as many posts until I reached 10 hosting credits, then it would last another 10 days. You'll have to ask the NilsC or OpaQue for more details on this.

Just as a suggestion make sure you have a day or two over your vacation days in posts so that if you need a day to recover you will be okay.
