now, think of a number (easy one, because you'll have to multiply it and divide it)
multiply it by two add 8 to the product divide the total by two rest the number you thought first now, match the letter in the alphabet with the number you got (e.g.: you got 1, the letter is A; got 2, letter B, etc.) quickly, find a country beggining with that letter (e.g: with A, Argentina; with B, Brazil) and finnaly find an animal with the immediately next letter in the alphabet. sorry, guys, there aren't elephant in Denmark... |

But, can you find any emus in the Dominican Republic? There are loads of little things like this, it's just unfortunate if you find someone who knows loads of animals and countries!

And since I'm easily amused and kind of a math geek...here's how the number is always four...
Let x be the number you choose. No restrictions on the domain. 1. Think of a number. x 2. Multiply it by two. 2x 3. Add eight to the product. 2x + 8 4. Divide the total by two. (2x + 8) / 2 5. Subtract the first number (x). (2x + 8)/2 - x 6. Simplify. (2x + 8)/2 - x = (2/2)x + (8/2) - x= (x + 4) - x = 4 |
